Broadband comparison

Broadband deals with rewards and gifts

A reward can be a welcome extra on a broadband deal you already want. It is less useful if it persuades you to take a more expensive contract or a connection that does not suit your home.

Choose your address on the next step to check available offers.

Choose the broadband first. Then decide whether the reward is useful, claimable and worth the difference in cost.

Find out what the reward actually is

Read whether the offer provides a gift card, a prepaid card, a bill credit or another benefit. Check where it can be used and whether that fits your normal spending. A voucher for a shop you never visit is not equivalent to money off your monthly bill.

Check whether the reward is included automatically or needs a claim. Note any activation requirements, waiting period, claim deadline and expiry date. Save the offer details and confirmation email so you can refer to the terms later.

Compare the underlying contract

Calculate the broadband payments and one-off charges before subtracting a reward's face value. You still need to meet each bill as it arrives, even if the reward comes later. Keep scheduled price changes in the calculation.

Compare a suitable deal without a gift too. A higher monthly bill can outweigh a generous-looking reward over a long term. If you would not buy the package without the gift, pause and check what is driving the decision.

Keep the claim instructions with your order

Before leaving the offer page, check the eligibility rules and whether the purchase has to follow a particular route. After activation, use the provider's or reward organiser's instructions to make the claim. Put a reminder in your calendar rather than relying on another email arriving.

If a reward is missing, keep your order reference, activation date and the version of the terms you saved. They make it easier to explain the issue to the organisation handling the reward.

Questions before you compare

Can I use a reward to pay the broadband bill?

Only if its terms allow that. Treat a voucher or prepaid card separately from your broadband payments unless the offer explicitly provides a bill credit.

Why are there no matching rewards?

The comparison partner may have no qualifying offers for your selection. Try the general deals comparison and judge those packages on their own costs.
